So for the last month Cody's work has been putting on a rock band competition. For those who don't know, it is a video game where you have a drummer, bassist, guitarist, and a singer. The whole time Cody's band (The Adekwets) has been in second place. They had to play two songs, three different times for a total of six songs. Today was the final and fourth show. The top four bands played today at the company's summer party. Each band had to play the same first song (Dani California- Red Hot Chili Peppers) and then chose the second song. Titled just for Andrea!
So Cody has been making me go to church. Yes making me. (I don't need any comments mom, papa and laura!!!) I don't mind the sacrament part of things but I could do without sunday school and relief society! I am sorry but they are boring and I would rather do other things!! But it really hasn't been bad so far... so far! I have met a few nice people, and hopefully I never offend them when they sit by me in relief society and I roll my eyes and make comments under my breath!! Which I have been known to do... But anyway yesterday I went on an Activity Days activity with the girls ages 8-11. We went to camp Jeremiah Johnson in Springville. It is a boy scout day camp. The girls got to shoot BB guns, spend some time at the Archery range, race boats across a "Lake" (or large pond), and do some crafts. It was pretty fun and the girls seemed to enjoy themselves! When I was that age we got to learn how to make cookies and then had to share them with the boys!! We never got to do such fun things! I learned that I don't have as much patience as I thought!! It was really hot when we first got there, and that was not awesome!! When it did cool down, it was fun. But like I said patience.... When it was just our 12 girls it was not that bad, but when ALL of them came together... Luckily it was only at the beginning and in the end. But some could be so obnoxious!! I NEVER acted in such a way!!! It also brought back a lot of memories! Some were sooo shy, believe it or not, I used to be extremely shy. And then there were the ones who LOVED being center of attention, I also went threw that phase! I know that most people do, you just don't really remember until you see someone else going threw it!! But like I said it was pretty fun, and I am glad I happened to have an afternoon off so I could go!! Thanks Chelsey for asking me!!! Here are just a few group pictures. The girls wanted a goofy one at the end!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY APRIL!!!!
I am now 28 weeks! Cody only freaks out every now and then when I remind him!! Her room is finished, minus the furniture! So when everything gets put together I will take some pictures. Our Drs appt went well. My glucose tested a little high so I have to take a three hour test at the hospital. Dr. Thorpe said that was nothing to worry about and most of the time it comes back normal. I am not looking forward to sitting at the hospital for three hours drinking sugar water! And I have spoken to quite a few friends who have always had to do the three hour test! I don't normally like sugar, I am a very salty kind of a girl, but ever since the dr told me to lay off the sugar until I take the test... THAT IS ALL I WANT!! Soda and candy! SO TASTY!! My goal is that starting tomorrow no more....
He also said that her little heart beat was a little slow. Also nothing to worry about. Feeling her kick me all day long I know she is fine! Cody said that his heart rate is always slower than normal too. So she will probably just be like her dad! Cody's sister Jaime just had her baby today! So we have a new little niece! CONGRATS JAIME!! Kambri Lynn Hanson was born around six o'clock. We haven't gone to see her. So I will post some pictures later. She was 8 lbs 12 oz and 2o in. 8 FREAKING pounds! That does worry me a little! I am very much hoping for a TINY baby and 8 pounds is not very tiny! Sorry Jaime!! This year both our families will get two babies! April and I are due just a few days apart, and now Cody's mom just has to wait a few more months for another! It is all getting so exciting!!!

UNTITLED
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.
I think it's fun to take a trip down memory lane, and it's always good to have a laugh or smile about the past. So leave a comment and I'll do the same for you.:)

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!

We went to a Real (ree-al) Salt Lake Soccer games last night. I didn't get any pictures but is was awesome! We went with Cody's sister Stefanie and his niece Keana. It was their first professional soccer game and I think we got them hooked!
We went to one last year, and it was a little boring!
But last night they played a lot better. Cody said they had new players and that was why.
The ref was not awesome! He kept calling for the other team and even red flagged one of our players which means he got thrown out!! The guy on the other team, whose fault the fight really was, only got a yellow flag so he didn't get thrown out. It was the end of the game so it wasn't that big of a deal. But when the ref called it everyone was so upset! The energy there was awesome! Everyone was throwing things at the refs. And even though I know your know your not supposed to... I probably would have too if I had, had something in my hand! Because the clock ran out while the fight was going on, the refs added four min to the clock, but then called the game after only two!!! That only made the crowd madder! I really hoped that the ref had body guards walking him to his car!! We got home extremely late, and I am exhausted this morning but it worth it. I hope everyone has a great holiday! Eat tons of watermelon, (I think that I have be craving watermelon) and think of those away from loved ones fighting so we can keep celebrating our freedom!
