In June Cody took me to Colombia. He had to go for work and they let me tag along. It was such an amazing opportunity and it was fun getting to see what he actually does when he goes on his "work" trips. I was a little worried about going, being taught that it is a horribly corrupt country with tons of drugs and violence. But that was yrs ago and they are doing their best to clean everything up and forget about the past. It is such a beautiful country and the people are so nice. Bogota is one of the cleanest cities I have been to, and Medellin is amazing. They say that the most beautiful women in the world come from Medellin, so I fit in really good there! Medellin is definitely a city I plan on returning to and would even consider living in.
We went down to Phoenix to have a little break and thaw out from the cold. It was so fun! I love going home and taking Cody and Reese with me. I love sharing my memories with them.
We stayed at a beautiful hotel and went swimming every day, first thing in the morning.
We went to the Zoo and the amazing Butterfly Wonderland.
We got spend time with some of our very favorite people!
We stopped in Vegas on our way home to stretch our legs and bask in some more sun.
It always breaks my heart when vacations have to end. But Phoenix will always be the place I call home.
Last April, because that's how far behind I am, Reese went on a field trip to the Thanksgiving Point petting zoo with her Preschool class. It really was a ton of fun! It was a bit chilly, which translates to freaking cold, but still fun. We saw a bunch of farm animals, rode a horse, went for a wagon ride, and ran around like crazy!
